Island stop for Samaritans fundraiser

A family tragedy has inspired a Samaritans volunteer to visit all 201 branches of the British charity.

David Exley from Sussex is raising funds for their 24/7 awareness campaign and has stopped off on the Island.

A keen motorcyclist, he even took time out for a lap of the TT course after Road and Track lent him a bike.

He says it’s a fun approach to a serious cause:
