A court's heard a Baldrine man was found by his ex-wife hanging in the garage.

68-year-old Ronald Herbert Hensby died at the home he shared with his former partner on April 7 this year.

Mr Hensby had recently divorced his wife of 45 years, but they had continued to live together.

The hearing was told Mr Hensby had written a note and made out a cheque for his funeral.
