Big day for A-level students

It’s A-level results day – and today the Island’s sixth-formers and students will find out how they’ve fared in their exams.

Many will be waiting to find out if they’ve achieved the grades they need to go to university or college.

Others may be facing disappointment and rethinking their future plans.

Paul Craine from the Department of Education says he’ll find out how the Island’s schools have done overall a bit later today:
