A Douglas man is preparing to take the Department of Infrastructure to court after a battle over parking tickets in a taxi rank.
Stewart Douglas was given a ticket outside Colours in Douglas last year for parking in the rank – but it was later overturned after he argued the signs and road markings were misleading and confusing.
But he’s now claiming compensation from the government after spending time and money trying to prove his case.

We've contacted the Department of Infrastructure, who told us they are unable to comment until after the case has gone to court later this month.
