Clean tech hope after conference

The politician responsible for energy policy and clean technology in the Island says he’s encouraged by developments in the clean tech sector.

Last week, a conference prompted debate about increased energy self-sufficiency on the Island.

It was also confirmed a biodiesel fuel producer from Japan is considering setting up business here.

Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly says the creation of new jobs would be a tangible benefit:
