Manx team half way to new speed record at Bonneville

A team of bikers from the Island, who're over in the United States to try and break a world record, has had a promising start.

The Lonan Gentleman's Fellowship is at Bonneville Speed Week, out on the legendary salt flats in Utah, and are half way to setting a new world record for their class.

The team consists of Paul Hodgson, Bob Watson, Stu Harvey, Suzy Starlite and Richard Barks, the man charged with riding their custom-built 500cc Manxman.
