A charity concert at the Gaiety Theatre has raised an incredible ?21,000 for two Island charities.
The Best of the Best of Manx Musicals took place in May and a sell-out audience means ?20,000 has been raised for the Island’s children’s hospice Rebecca House and ?1,000 for Dravet Syndrome.
The show featured songs from hit musicals which have been performed on the Island and was organised by David Artus.
He says the inspiration for the event came from eight-year-old Connell Tebay of Kirk Michael who has Dravet Syndrome, which gives sufferers fits and mental health and balance problems.
