Department of Home Affairs political delegations

Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson MHK has announced the delegation of Department duties to his political Members.
 
• The Minister will retain responsibility for the Isle of Man Constabulary
 
• David Quirk MHK will have responsibility for the integrated Prison and Probation Service, and the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service
 
• Peter Karran MHK will be the political champion of the Drug and Alcohol Strategy, and take on responsibility for the Department’s Communications Service
 
The Minister said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Peter Karran to the Department of Home Affairs and to retain the services of David Quirk. They bring a wealth of experience and insight to the Department’s affairs and I look forward to working with them for the benefit of the local community.’
