A Port Erin commissioner says he’s philosophical after losing a vote to cut down the number of board members.
At a meeting this week, Tony Wright suggested reducing the board from nine to seven – but was narrowly defeated by a single vote.
He says local government reform was one of the reasons he’d stood for election in April, and he may try again in future.
