Harbour bridge repaired

by isleofman.com 2nd August 2012

Douglas Harbour Bridge is back to normal after a hydraulic fault left it stuck up for more than an hour.

A pipe failed shortly before midday, locking the bridge open and creating traffic chaos around the town centre and quayside.

Engineers from the Department of Infrastructure repaired the fault.
