Onchan MHK and Liberal Vannin party leader Peter Karran has been given responsibility for the Island's drug and alcohol strategy.
Mr Karran joined the Department of Home Affairs last month as part of a reshuffle carried out by the chief minister.
That brought Mr Karran, who had temporarily left government after being sacked as education minister, back into the fold.
