New union boss says there's work to be done

The new head of Unite says there’s work to be done to cement the influence of unions in the Isle of Man.

Eric Holmes was speaking as he succeeds Steve Salter as regional industrial organiser for the Island’s largest trade union.

Mr Holmes, who takes the post initially for nine months, believes the weight of unions needs to be clear.
