Ramsey farmer loses ten sheep to dog attack

A farmer from Ramsey says she believes the same dog is responsible for killing 10 of her sheep over the last week.

In the latest attack at Crossags Farm in the Glen Auldyn area yesterday afternoon, three of Angela Kelly's flock were killed and a number left injured.

A black Doberman-Collie cross is thought to be the culprit and police are urging local dog walkers who know the dog or the owner to report them immediately.

Anyone with informaiton should contact Ramsey police on 812234.

It's thought the dog enters the farm fields from the Ramsey Hairpin area, but despite extensive local inquiries by police and patrols by farm workers, the animal remains at large.
