Manx Connections to Eventing Team Silver

by isleofman.com 31st July 2012

There is an Isle of Man connection to two of the horses ridden by Great Britain in winning a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympics.

The Eventing team finished second to Germany after the three rounds of dressage, cross-country and show-jumping.

Mary King rode Imperial Cavalier which is owned by Eddie and Sue Davies of Ballasalla.

And Zara Phillips was on board High Kingdom which is owned by Trevor Hemmings.

Hemmings has enjoyed Grand National success with Ballabriggs in 2011 and Hedgehunter in 2005.
