After disappointment at yesterday's road race result, supporters have expressed their continuing pride in Manx Missile Mark Cavendish's achievements.
Economic Development minister John Shimmin was among a crowd of more than 80 people who watched the Olympic event unfold on a huge screen at Bar George in Douglas, at an event hosted by HSBC Bank.
