The father of one of the Island’s Olympic cyclists says he’s backing Mark Cavendish to win Saturday’s Men’s Road Race.
Although Peter Kennaugh won’t be taking part in that race, he and his father will be in London to cheer on the Manx Missile.
Mr Kennaugh Senior says after Cav won the final stage of the Tour de France, he’ll be brimming with confidence and determination.
But he says the nine-lap race around the Box Hill course will be a tough one.
