by isleofman.com 26th July 2012

The Department of Education has released further details on how parents with children due to attend pre school in September can apply for grants.

A new credit scheme was announced in March, to help families meet the cost of pre school places after privatisation.

Parents can claim a credit certificate worth ?350 per year, while there's an additional ?800 for those on certain benefits.

The credit can be used at any nursery registered with the Department of Social Care.

Credit certificates will be sent out at the beginning of next month along with instructions on how to redeem them.

You can pick up forms from the Sea Terminal Welcome Centre or find it on the government website gov.im.
