Accident victim on mountain road named

Police have named an elderly man who died in a road traffic accident on the Mountain yesterday.

Officers say 74 year old Keith “Nick” Benham from Douglas died at the Creg-Ny-Baa at around 10am yesterday morning.

They’re continuing investigations, and say Mr Benham was a passenger in a silver and blue Smart car heading North.

The other car involved was a black Vauxhall Zafira heading towards Douglas.
