Most pre-schools will open as advertised

by isleofman.com 25th July 2012

The majority of the new providers for pre-school facilities say they will be opening as advertised on September 5th.

This follows the withdrawal of the government earlier this year from free provision of places.

The largest new provider, Mooinjer Veggey, has now withdrawn from two schools, Ballacottier and Manor Park as they say there has been insufficient demand to make it financially viable.

But the others say that although afternoons are a bit of a struggle, mornings are going well.

Two of them are Katie Callister at Sandcastles, (servicing Cronk y Berry), and Richard Hooper of Stepping Stones, in Ramsey.
