Microgaming Trust makes sporting gift

by isleofman.com 24th July 2012

The Microgaming Health and Care Trust has donated ?4,000 to the Isle of Man Sport Institute to fund a new ultrasound probe.

The specialist equipment can help diagnose injuries involving tendons, ligaments and muscles – and it’s already being put to good use at the institute based at the National Sports Centre.

The probe connects to a portable ultrasound machine which means it can be taken to sporting events both on and off-island.

Dr Roy Clague, Chairman of the Microgaming Health and Care Trust, says Microgaming is a keen supporter of sporting activities, so the donation was felt to be good use of the trust’s funds.
