Don't drink and drive this summer!

by isleofman.com 24th July 2012

A Summer anti drink-drive campaign is a worthwhile reminder to motorists, according to the Department of Infrastructure.

The campaign has been launched recently and is reminding anyone out at evening functions, from barbecues to Olympics parties, not to get behind the wheel if they've been drinking.

Network planning manager Derek Sewell says the winter campaign shows that the number of arrests remains roughly constant at around 12 to 15 over the month, regardless of how many drivers are stopped

And there seems to be little difference at this time of year
