Parking ticket price hike

by isleofman.com 24th July 2012

The Department of Infrastructure is putting up the price of fixed penalty fines such as parking tickets.

The price hikes take effect in August and mean a parking ticket will set you back ?60 instead of ?40.

More serious offences, such as parking on pedestrian crossing zig-zags or speeding, will now cost a motorist ?120 – as will parking in a disabled space.

Any fines still unpaid after 42 days automatically go up by another 50 per cent.
