Lloyds TSB Support Local Production of Evita

by isleofman.com 23rd July 2012

Lloyds TSB is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Evita. The musical, staged by Taylorian Productions, will debut on 6th August at the Gaiety Theatre.  Based upon the life of Argentine political leader Eva Perón, it features some of theater's most beautiful songs, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina", "Another Suitcase in Another Hall", and "High Flying, Adored".

Taylorian Productions was formed in 2006 and has been responsible for many local productions including Oliver! and the Wizard of Oz. The company has since gone from strength to strength with this most recent production being staged for a full two weeks, closing on 18th August.

James Davis of Taylorian Productions commented on Lloyds TSB’s sponsorship of the production: “The sponsorship from Lloyds has enabled us to produce a brilliant show. We are both thrilled and very thankful for their support!”

Trevor Kirk, Senior Manager of Corporate Banking at Lloyds TSB, also commented: “We are delighted to continue our ongoing support of the local community with this fantastic production of Evita. We hope that everyone will come along and enjoy this local top quality production.”
