The recent hike in the price of milk on the Island will help Manx farmers, but they're still susceptible to the same pressures as their UK counterparts, according to Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne.
Across, farmers angry at cuts of up to two pence per litre have been blocking deliveries.
Farmers For Action says hundreds of dairy farmers could be forced out of business, which would lead to milk being imported in large quantities.
Mr Gawne says the recent price increase of Manx milk should ensure the price farmers receive here is maintained, adding it's not impossible the problems in the UK could provide an opportunity for Manx farmers:
