No special measures needed: MFP

Manx Fish Producers say they don’t feel any special measures are needed to protect a fishing area off the coast of Port St Mary.

A public meeting was held this week to discuss the future of Perwick Bay and Bay ny Carrickey and how they can be managed.

It’s amid concerns fishing stocks in the area might be under pressure.

But Tom Bryan-Brown says the fishing organisation doesn’t feel there’s a need for more stringent protection measures:
