Liberal Vannin party leader Peter Karran says he’s happy to be working within government again, as he takes up a post in the Department of Home Affairs.
The move comes just weeks after he was sacked as Education Minister for defying the ministerial code and voting against colleagues on the Pinewood Shepperton investment deal.
Mr Karran says that’s now all in the past, and his priority is getting on with his new job.
And he says there’s no bad blood between himself and the council of ministers.
