Island takes charge of sea

The Isle of Man could be close to securing an agreement that would give the Island greater say in what happens inside the Manx 12-mile sea limit.

An agreement is not finalised but it appears close, with a possible announcement very soon.

The Island has long complained about how little it can influence what happens in its own sea area, with the stripping of the Manx scallop beds a major bone of contention.
