End of an era for school

It's the end of an era for a Douglas school as it said goodbye to hundreds of youngsters yesterday.

St Ninian's lower school, Park Road, is 118 years old and ex-pupils have been visiting the site over the last few weeks.

Pupils left for their summer holidays yesterday afternoon - they'll be moving to the new development, Bemahague, in September.

Head teacher Andy Fox says they're determined to keep the school's memory alive:
