Final bell for Douglas school

by isleofman.com 17th July 2012

Today was the final day at a Douglas school as it closed after 118 years.

St Ninian's lower school, Park Road, saw hundreds of children leave this afternoon for their summer holidays, three days earlier than other Island schools.

The youngsters will transfer to the new Onchan development, Bemahague, this September.

Head teacher Andy Fox says although the children have finished there is plenty more work still to do.
