The future of a fishing area off the coast of Port St Mary will be debated at a public meeting this evening (Tuesday).
Perwick Bay and Bay ny Carrickey – and how they can be managed in the future – are up for discussion at the Mount Tabor Methodist Church Hall on Queen’s Road in the village.
The meeting at 7pm will be chaired by Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne who says while many fisheries around the Island are protected, the area off Port St Mary could face problems.
