Boston Group launches eCommerce and eGaming practice

by isleofman.com 17th July 2012

Greg Ellison, CEO of local financial services group Boston, has announced the launch of a specialist eCommerce and eGaming practice as part of the company’s targeted international growth strategy.  The launch has been given significant weight by the simultaneous appointment of Bruce Elliott to the newly created role of Group Commercial Director.  Bruce, a leading industry figure with a stellar background in business development, eCommerce and eGaming, will sit on the Board and lead this initiative.

Boston provides a range of corporate and fiduciary services for this market sector.  These include standard services such as the establishment of efficient corporate structures, streamlined licence applications and provision of professional local directors.  However, it will also offer more specialised services regarding software selection, website optimisation, global banking, online payment solutions and web hosting.

Greg Ellison commented: “Having set in motion our high-growth strategy last year, we have broken into new markets both geographically and by industry, whilst redefining how financial and fiduciary services are delivered.  As part of this, we have now committed to providing specialist services to both eGaming and broader eCommerce clients and Bruce’s appointment is central to this new offering. The combination of his industry knowledge and global experience, our investment in market-leading technology and the high level of service delivery Boston is already renowned for, is helping us create outstanding results for our clients.”

Bruce Elliott brings a wealth of global leadership experience in eCommerce with licensed eGaming operator 188BET.com, eGaming software pioneer Microgaming and online payments specialist Neteller plc.  Whilst at Neteller, Bruce was instrumental in driving it to over $250 Million in annual revenues, over 1 million consumer members and, at one time, to become the largest company on the AIM market in London.  In addition, Bruce brings a proven track record in business development, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and strategic planning.

Commenting on his appointment, Bruce said “Greg has built a strong team of smart, service-minded people with excellence in fiduciary services, yacht and aircraft administration and family office services. I am pleased to be able to add eCommerce and eGaming to Boston’s expanding number of business lines.  I strongly believe this is a company that is at the forefront of its market and will remain at the leading edge for many years to come.”
