Manx breast cancer patients will receive treatment that is equal to or exceeds that available off-Island.
That's the belief of the Isle of Man's Consultant Breast Cancer Surgeon Millie Bello, who set out her vision for the future of services at a meeting last night (Monday).
Around 50 people, including MHKs Geoff Corkish and Kate Beecroft, were at the talk organised by the Cancer Services User Forum.
Miss Bello talked about some of the most advanced and innovative surgical techniques - including breast reconstruction - that she is already carrying out on the Island.
She says people in the Isle of Man should have high expectations about what can be achieved.
