There's a chance to find out more about the woman behind Yn Chruinnaght today

The inter-Celtic Festival has run every year since 1978 after it was resurrected by the late Mona Douglas.

It celebrates Manx art, music and culture and its similarities with cultures in other places - particularly those with a Celtic Heritage.

This evening Manx Radio presenter and Yn Chruinnaght Committee member Bob Carswell will give be giving a talk on Mona Douglas at Ramsey Town Hall.  The talk gets underway at 7.30pm at Ramsey Town Hall. Yn Chruinnaght continues until 21st July.

He says she was a great educationalist in the annals of Manx culture
