Baines' jewellery to be sold

by isleofman.com 14th July 2012

An auction next week will sell off jewellery which belonged to jailed millionaire Trevor Baines.

Baines was sent to prison in 2009 for money-laundering, while his wife Wendy admitted false accounting.

A coroner’s auction will take place at the Empress Hotel in Douglas from 7pm on Friday (July 20), selling gold, ivory and bronze items from the couple’s former home Africa House om Douglas.

The items can be viewed between noon and 6pm on the day.
