Police are appealing for the driver of a white offroad vehicle to come forward after a stone gateway was damaged in Balrdine.

The incident happened at around 8pm on Sunday – officers say a witness saw the white four by four reverse out of a lane on to Clayhead Road where it hit a wall and dislodged a gate pillar.

However the driver left the scene without reporting the damage.
