A driver's been taken to hospital with serious injuries after an accident on Ballafletcher Road in Douglas.
Fire crews used cutting gear to free the man who was trapped in his Daihatsu 4 wheel drive car, after it hit a Ford Focus at just before nine this morning.
A plan to lift him out through the roof was abandoned on the advice of paradmedics, and he was eventually taken out of the wreckage through the rear door.
He was rushed to Noble's by ambulance. The driver of the other car isn't thought to be badly hurt.
