New nursery and pre-school in Bride

by isleofman.com 10th July 2012

A new nursery and pre-school is starting in Bride this September.

Gemma Mortimer will lease the site of the soon-to-be-vacated village primary school from the Department of Education and Children, to provide daycare for two-to-four-year-olds.

Bride school closes this summer and pupils will continue their primary education in nearby Andreas.

The department is leasing many of the Island's school properties to private operators ahead of the privatisation of government-run pre-schools.
