Tin Bath event helps local charities stay afloat

Island charities will be better off after yesterday’s 41st World Tin Bath Championships in Castletown.

A total of ?7,000 was raised at the event and will be split between a number of local causes.

Nick Cain retained the men’s title with multiple champion Erika Cowen triumphing yet again in the women’s race.

Search and Rescue Dogs IoM and Lambs Navy Rum were the respective team winners, while Southern Young Farmers B team won the Manx International Snake Race.
