Become a dining companion

There’s an appeal for more people to get involved with a dining companion scheme at Noble’s Hospital.

The scheme sees people sharing meals with patients, providing company and helping people get the most from their food.

A training session was held for a group of would-be companions at the weekend, but volunteer coordinator Alison Lester says people are still welcome to join up.

She says it’s a very rewarding experience:
