A Manxman respected for making an outstanding contribution to many aspects of Manx life says he will be immensely proud when he becomes the sixth recipient of the Tynwald Honour this Thursday.
His Honour Jack Corrin will receive the award on Tynwald Day.
He was proposed by the Tynwald Honours Committee which described him as a ‘Manx gentleman’ who has carried out work for the Island’s constitution and made a ‘strong, selfless commitment’ to many charitable causes.
The former First Deemster says it is a great honour.
