Merged schools to have new name

by isleofman.com 3rd July 2012

Two Island schools that have recently merged will see a name change in honour of the Queen's Jubilee.

Murray's Road Junior School and Ballaquayle Infants will be known as Scoill yn Jubilee - literally Jubilee School - from September.

The two primaries came under one headteacher, Linda Green, in February this year.

The school's amalgamation will also include finances, administration, classroom organisation, lesson delivery, diaries and daily routines.
