Have tea for lunch!

There’s an invitation to workers in Douglas to find out more about a community befriending project this lunchtime (Tues)

Isle of Man Live at Home Schemes sees members of the public visiting isolated people in their homes and today the organisation will be hosting a "tea" at the Promenade Methodist Church in Douglas.

The aim is to let the public, members and supporters meet up and enjoy tea, sandwiches and cakes together to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Manager of the South Douglas scheme Jan Farrell says everybody will be made welcome:
