President of Tynwald Clare Christian hopes as many people as possible will celebrate the Island’s national day in St John’s.
Tynwald Day on Thursday will see the traditional ceremonies taking place, as well as the fair behind Tywnald Hill.
Mrs Christian says some people may not understand why they have a bank holiday this week and she’s urging them to go and watch events on the day.
