Thieves broke into the church on the Jurby Coast Road and stole a number of highly sentimental items, including a replica metallic ‘Chalice’ and two silver collection plates, used by the church during their services and donated in memory of past parishioners.

Police are appealing for information so the items can be returned.

The numbers to call, PC Samuel Cannell on 812234 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number – 0800 555 111.
