Queenie Festival this weekend

The Island’s annual Queenie Festival gets underway this evening as the south celebrates the Manx delicacy.

Tonight is the Sure Beach Party in Port Erin, starting at 6pm, featuring a seafood barbecue, beach Olympics and live bands.

Tomorrow, it’s the turn of Port St Mary to take centre stage, with a Ceilidh on Alfred Pier.

Organiser Tim Croft says tonight’s beach party will be an event to remember:
