At 23.24 on Tuesday 26th June, crews responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision at the bottom of Baldrine involving one vehicle.
Upon the Fire Services arrival, a passenger had already been removed from the upturned vehicle and was receiving medical attention from ambulance personnel.
Working in restricted conditions fire crews stabilised the vehicle and then used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove part of the roof to allow the second passenger to be successfully removed from the vehicle before ambulance personnel conveyed the casualties to hospital for further treatment and checks.
Fire crews returned to their respective stations by 00:40 hours after having made the area and the vehicle safe.
The condition of the casualties is unknown at this time but it is not thought to be serious.
