Joey Dunlop Memorial Ride-Out this Sunday

by isleofman.com 27th June 2012

Kevin Quirk - As we approach our 4th consecutive wet weekend , do not be too despondant there is only a 30% chance of showers on Sunday therefore 70% chance of being dry for the 'Joey' rideout.

I ask myself do we need to recruit the help of TT Riders liason officers Milky Quayle and Johnny Barton to undertake a course inspection or shall we all be positive and just turn up at the TT Grandstand Pitlane at 10.00am, have a hot drink in The Hailwood Centre before heading down Bray Hill.

In view of the prospects of 'good' weather , we are asking local residents to venture out and give bikers a wave .

JDF T shirts will be on sale either in pitlane or in The Hailwood Centre (if wet) and can be purchased with cash or debit/credit card.

After the lap why not venture down to Laxey and enjoy a buffet and entertainment at The Mines Tavern.

Buffet costs £5.00 payable at The Mines , however please pre book your buffet by sending me an e mail [kevinquirk@hotmail.com].

Unfortunately, I will miss the lap as I am off island for 5 weeks returning the end of July.

Have a safe and enjoyable rideout.

Kevin
