Fundraising concert for local singer's cancer treatment

A local song writer is hoping to raise money for her own cancer treatment with the help of two of her musical idols.

Katherine Crowe has been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer, and is now paying for therapies to help fight the disease.

She's organised a concert with singers Beverley Craven and Richard Walters at the Gaiety Theatre this September and is appealing to the Manx public to support her.

Katherine says Beverley in particular has had a huge influence on her own career:
