Purple Solution

3 large strawberries, quartered
¼ cup blueberries
½ cup skimmed milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
½ cup 0% greek yoghurt
½ small banana, cut into chunks
½ cup crushed ice

Place all ingredients in a blender.  Process on high until smooth, serve immediately.

 

Calories = 304


51% = carbs
43% = protein
6% = fat


Blueberries = help reduce the accumulation of belly fat.
Whey Protein powder = amino acids to help build lean muscle & burn fat.
Berries & milk = provide the carbohydrates needed to restore depleted energy stores following exercise, plus antioxidents,vitamin C & calcium.
Fat free dairy = is better than low-fat, specifically post exercise, as fat can slow down the rate of uptake of key recovery nutrients.
