More than 200 finish record breaking Manx Telecom Parish Walk

by isleofman.com 24th June 2012

It’s been a record breaking Manx Telecom Parish Walk in every sense of the word!

For the first time ever, there were joint winners with Irishman Vinny Lynch and Richard Gerrard setting a new record time of 14 hours 42 mins and 32 seconds.

And a record 203 competitors, including 50 first-timers, completed the event just before 8am.

Mark Boyd was the last to finish within the 24 hour deadline and Sarah Callin became the 204th competitor to finish, cheered on by her proud husband and delighted children.
